Built by the famous perfumer Coty in XVIIIth century style, this breathtaking residence with its white stone is in striking contrast with the green setting of its 25 hectares park which presides overthe Indre valley. The entrance takes you through the woods to the striking magnificence of French gardens and the elegant and stately Château.

Luxurious mansion in the spirit of the 18th century, a chateau-hotel in the heart of the Loire Valley, 15 km from Tours. The Chateau d'Artigny has welcomed a number of eminent people, such as the Queen Mother of England.

63 rooms and 2 apartments between the château, the Pavillion d'Ariane (50 metres across from the château), the Hunting Lodge (600 metres) and the Port-Moulin (on the river bank, 800 metres). Our Chef, Francis Maignaut offers an inventive cuisine redolent of the region based on products from the 'Garden of France': fish from the Loire and meat from the Touraine. In addition to the 2 dining rooms, the Chateau d'Artigny boasts 3 reception rooms (the Regency, Rotonde and Royal); the largest of which can accommodate up to 120 people. A number of rooms, the largest being the Grand Salon can accommodate up to 200 people. Theme evenings round off the musical evenings marvellously and their originality makes them attractive, since they combine the pleasure of the table with relaxation based on various themes : hunting, cigars, Champagne, truffle, Russian...

All air-conditioned, the bedrooms are luxuriously fitted out and have all modern comfort. You can also hire an apartment.

The Chef has added his innovative touch to some of the regional dishes : Loire fishes, poultry from the Tourain region.

From Paris motorway A10 exit n°24 for Chambray-Montbazon, follow the N10 for 4 miles till where you turn right on the D17 towards Monts (1 mile).

By rail :
TGV from Paris-Montparnasse station (1-hour 30 minute trip), from Roissy airport (1-hour 30 minute trip with the first departure at 7.45 am) St-Pierre-des-Corps station (7 miles) or Tours Centre (10 miles) link with TGV Lille or Lyon-Tours (3-hour trip).

By air :
Tours St-Symphorien airport (15 miles).
